D.O.P.E (short for the Department Of Propaganda Everywhere) is a cryptocurrency project dealing with the idea of global government propaganda. Initially called as a jest toward the theme of media influence, this project aims to underscore and perhaps parody the effects of propaganda on governance and public opinion. D.O.P.E is associated with a crypto token that seeks to analyze the relationships between cryptocurrency and social narratives. It enables the discourse regarding the role of media in politics and everyday activities and balances social narrative with democracy, courtesy of blockchain's transparency and decentralization. D.O.P.E employs cryptocurrency as a vehicle and emblem in rethinking the critique and education of propaganda lite. This project targets the stakeholders in the sociopolitical sphere of propaganda by showcasing social critique as a digital currency.
