Shiburn's main purpose is to mitigate the circulating supply of Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens by removing some tokens permanently. It attempts to rectify the problem of excess supply of the token which can erode the token’s value in the long term. This project attempts to improve the scarcity of SHIB and the potential for value appreciation by buying tokens from the market using the platform’s fees and subsequently burning them. The platform works on a community model which empowers SHIB holders to take part in the token burning process and invokes community engagement for better participation. Shiburn also enhances its transparency by showing the real-time burn data on its website, allowing participants to see the amount of tokens burnt, and Shiburn also offers real-time burn tracking on its website. Shiburn differentiates itself with a tokenomics model designed to intentionally decrease the supply of SHIB tokens in circulation, increase demand and stabilize, or ideally, increase the price of SHIB token in a manner that positively impacts the invested communities.
