Sui Name Service recently announced decentralization of the protocol through the introduction of the NS token. The first distribution was made to Sui Name Service holders on August 9th in the form of a soulbound NFT, which can be unwrapped for NS tokens at a later date.

Of the total NS supply, 10% is dedicated to airdrops. Some percentage of the token supply dedicated to the treasury will also be airdropped to users. Future governance participants will also receive 5% of the NS supply at a later date.

How to join Sui Name Service airdrop?

Visit Sui Name Service and connect your wallet.

Please note that some SUI is required to purchase the domain name. Get some from Binance if you don’t hold any SUI.

Read the T&Cs and click on Agree.

Enter the desired domain name to see if it is available.

Click on “Register Name” and ensure the “Set as Default” option is enabled to link the domain name to your SUI wallet.
